Faculty, staff, and students of all ages and technical skill levels use UR Blogs, a WordPress multisite network I manage, to house class discussions, build exhibition websites, create their personal portfolio, and collect and publish submissions to peer-reviewed journals. I produced a series of videos to help new users of the system perform the most common tasks, like navigating the WordPress dashboard, adding posts and pages, and incorporating multimedia materials into their content.
My work on these tutorials included outlining, storyboarding, script writing, recording audio and video elements, editing audio and video while maintaining consistent branding and design, creating captions and a transcript, publishing to Vimeo, and organizing the videos in our internal WordPress help area.
